How to charge a battery using the Pendant 912
If you managed to connect the smartphone and the charger according to the instructions above, then you can start choosing the battery charge mode. To do this, in the program window that opens, you must:
- Press the button "Battery charge".
- Choose a simple or advanced battery charging mode.
- Fine tune the selected mode.
Easy Mode Setup:
- On the first page that opens, you should enter the voltage and capacitance values, according to the battery passport (the settings are made by moving the sliders to the right or left). To activate the change, click the "Select" button.
- On the next page that opens, you should set the voltage and current values. For an effective charge, the voltage should be specified more than the factory value by about 20%, and the current strength should be no more than 10% of the nominal battery capacity.
- Press the “Start” button.
Now the battery will be charged by electric current, the parameters of which were selected in the program of the mobile device.
The advanced mode is configured in the same way, but it will be possible to add a delay to the launch of the above parameters, as well as activation of the precharge. In addition, you can add the values of the variable charge and discharge of the battery, which will allow you to perform a quality battery training, as a result of which the capacity indicators of old power supplies will significantly increase.
If, for one reason or another, it was not possible to configure the charger using a smartphone, then this can be done using the buttons on the front panel. To select the modes, press the "P" button until the inscription "memory" appears.
Then buttons ↑ and ↓ you should choose the optimal charging mode. By pressing the “B” button, one should select the factory values of the battery parameters, as well as the recommended values for charging current and voltage. After selecting the parameters, the charger is switched on with the "C" button.
