How to charge a battery using the Pendant 707d
The instruction manual is not difficult and implies the following actions
Without first connecting the battery, the charger must be connected to a power source. Using the existing “Voltage” knob, it is necessary to fix the output value during operation as a power source. The set indicator will be displayed on the LCD.
On the output terminals of the device, the value is fixed immediately after the blinking ends (after 5 seconds after stopping the use of the knob). A display of the measured voltage appears on the monitor. When using the current control knob, the maximum value of the charging current should be determined in accordance with the instructions on the device itself.
After rotation, the applied parameter starts to flicker on the monitor of the device. The set current must be fixed immediately upon completion of the flashing (approximately 5 seconds after working with the control knob). Based on the set parameter, the measured current indicator will be indicated on the monitor of the device.
In the absence of instructions on the charger, it is strongly recommended to set the maximum current value to 0.1 of the declared battery capacity. When charging a battery with a capacity of 55 A / h, 5.5 A. must be installed.
It is necessary to connect the device, not forgetting the polarity, the crocodile clips should be connected to the battery. The existing red wire should be connected to the positive terminal of the battery, black - to the minus.
