On phones with non-removable batteries

Every year the number of devices with non-removable batteries is growing. Consider the sequence of operations to replace the battery using the example of the HTC One model:

1. Armed with a plastic spatula or pick, you need to disconnect the screen from the body, passing around the entire perimeter of the device. To soften the glue, it is allowed to warm up the device by directing the air flow of the hair dryer with a thin nozzle to the joints.

Attention! At this stage, it is important not to scratch the coating and chips of separable parts. It is recommended to carry out the dismantling procedure with a plastic tool and a suction cup, do not use a metal screwdriver, knife or scalpel.

2. Flip the display to the side by turning it on the hinge that connects to the case without damaging the screen cable.
3. By analogy with (1), unhook the rear metal cover from the device body. It should be noted that it is fixed with 8 clips, and the joints are connected by glue.
4. Remove the black assembly with the electronic components and unscrew the 7 mounting screws on it.
5. Remove the motherboard by peeling the surface off the battery, then remove and install a new battery.
6. Repeat the operations in reverse order.
