Battery Maintenance Tenax
Tenax batteries are completely maintenance free. This is achieved through the use of lead-calcium alloy, as well as a unique cover design that does not allow loss of electrolyte.
There are no plugs in the upper part, it is impossible to open the lid - it is soldered using the “dry grinding” method. Due to the fact that the evaporated electrolyte condenses back, and leakages are excluded, it is not necessary to add water.

How to charge Tenax batteries
Maintenance-free batteries are rarely required. Only a special charger with the ability to adjust current and voltage is used for this. It must be connected to the battery, observing the polarity. Set on it a current strength equal to one tenth of the battery capacity. That is, if the capacity is 60 Ah, then the current should be 6 A. The voltage should also be controlled so that it does not exceed 14.4 V.
