How to charge Medalist batteries

Current should be set at one tenth of the battery capacity. That is, if the capacity is 60 Ah, then on the charger you need to set a current of 6 A, if 45 Ah, then 4.5 A and so on. When the voltage reaches 14.4 V, the charging current should be reduced by another half. In general, the main thing that must be observed is that the current indicators can be lower, but in no case higher.

You also need to check the voltage and charging current every two hours. When the indicators remain unchanged from previous measurements, it means that the battery is charged. Charging time depends on the degree of discharge of the battery and amperage, the higher the current, the faster it charges.

How to find out the release date and decrypt the code

The release date of the Medalist battery is encrypted with a five-digit mark on the device’s cover. The first digit encrypts the year, followed by the letter - month (A - January, B - February, C - March and so on).
