Cougar AGM and EFB +

Service and Charging

These batteries do not like high voltage when charging. It is important not to exceed 15 V when installed on charging. And also they are negatively affected by ultra-low temperatures. How to find out the release date and decrypt the code

Each battery has its own marking. On it you can determine the year of manufacture of the device. On Cougar batteries, the code is decrypted as follows:

1. The first two letters indicate the plant.
2. The figure is the last number of the year of manufacture.
3. The third letter is the designation of the calendar month of production from “A” - January, “B” - February, “C” - March to “L” - December.
4. The last two digits indicate how numbers were produced.

For example, AA8L15. This means that the release date of the battery is December 15, 2018.
