Vepr generators are manufactured using technologies that minimize vibration processes during operation of the internal combustion engine. Vepr gas power plants can be used as the main or backup power source for various production facilities. The advantage of such plants is their high power and operational resource, and they are also more environmentally friendly.
In addition, such plants operate on a relatively cheap energy source, which can significantly reduce costs during generator operation. Ideal for areas where there is gasification, but it is difficult to supply liquid fuel.
Gas power plants cause minimal environmental damage, so they can be used without any restrictions in the residential sector. The only drawback of such installations is the difficulty in connecting to the trunk network (special permission is required), as well as in the need to deliver fuel in special containers (when using liquefied gas).
What to look for when choosing
The choice of engine type should be decided in advance. A diesel generator is more economical, but such an unit with equal power with a gasoline installation has a large mass and noise during operation. Operation of portable diesel power plants at negative air temperatures can also cause difficulties. In cold weather, fuel may thicken and the engine will simply stand up or not start.
Further, it all depends on the tasks that the generator should perform. If it is a backup power source during a power outage, then two kilowatts is enough. For a summer cottage not permanent residence, a 2-3 kW generator is required. This is enough to power the refrigerator, TV and small electrical appliances.
Owners of private cottages will need a 6-10 kW generator, as they will need to provide power for boiler equipment, autonomous sewers, a full stove, refrigerator, washing machine and dishwasher, boiler and many more electrical appliances. If gas, water supply and heating are connected to the house, then a less powerful generator can be dispensed with.
