About Forse

The Forse brand is produced by the Russian manufacturer BatBaza. This company is engaged in the distribution of goods, their promotion, training of sales representatives, as well as equipment maintenance. Other companies are engaged in production.

Initially, production was carried out by the Ukrainian company Vesta-Dnepr in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. This was in 2006, when the Forse brand first appeared on the Russian market, and lasted until 2014. Now, the Kursk Battery Factory is engaged in the production of batteries for BatBaza.

In addition to Forse, this company owns other brands, including Norr, Fireball, Dominator, Uno, FB.

Where are Forse batteries used?

Forse batteries come in a variety of options and are suitable for a wide range of vehicles. These are trucks and cars, and there is also a separate series for motorcycles.

It is possible to use such batteries in both domestic cars and foreign cars. They are mainly distributed in Russia and the CIS countries. Thanks to a sufficiently wide model range, as well as a wide range of capacities and inrush currents, you can choose a model for almost any car.

Applied technologies and their features

Forse batteries have good specifications and are reliable. High quality is achieved thanks to modern technologies used in production:

• Ca-Ca technology, which involves the use of calcium alloys in the manufacture of gratings, thereby increasing their strength and performance, as well as reducing fluid consumption;
• fire safety thanks to the technology of built-in flame arrester;
• special design with gas vent caps;
• the use of special additives in the manufacture of plates, due to which an increased number of electrons is achieved, due to which, in turn, the starting current is increased;
• the use of plugs to access battery banks - this feature allows you to measure electrolyte parameters at any convenient time and add water if necessary - that is, these batteries are serviced.

The manufacturer claims that thanks to the technologies involved, an easy engine start is provided in the cold season, and the electrodes have increased strength. Three year construction warranty.

Despite serviceability, calcium batteries are close in reliability and service life to maintenance-free ones.

Forces batteries on the market are primarily European sizes. Their capacity varies from 50 to 225 Ah. There are also batteries of Asian standard size, with a capacity of 35 to 95 Ah. Everything can be divided into several groups:

For motorcycles

These are not serviceable batteries made using AGM technology (with absorbed electrolyte). That is, these batteries are dry-charged, which means they can be stored longer, and they also have an increased inrush current.Unlike Russian counterparts, they are higher in quality and performance, and cheaper than imported ones. A large lineup allows you to choose a battery for any motor vehicle: scooters, motorcycles and ATVs.

For passenger cars of Russian and European cars

Forse Battery Maintenance

Since Forse batteries are manufactured using calcium alloys and a special lid design, maintenance is minimized. Here's what you need to do:

1. Top up with distilled water as needed. To do this, remove the cover and evaluate the liquid level. It should cover the plates by about a centimeter.
2. Check density with a hydrometer. You need to do this in each bank separately. Hydrometer - a special device for measuring density.
3. Monitor the voltage at the terminals. For a fully charged calcium battery, it is about 12.7 V.
4. Charge if necessary.

Despite the fact that you can and even sometimes need to open the lid and control the liquid level in these batteries, in quality they are close to unattended, troubles with them are a minimum.

How to charge Forse batteries

It is necessary to bring the battery into a warm room and let it warm. Then you need to wipe the unit from dirt and moisture, as this may cause a short circuit between the terminals. The next step is to remove the top cover and unscrew the plugs. Now you can check the electrolyte density level and its quantity. If necessary, add water. Explosive gas will also escape through the open covers, so you need to charge the battery in a well-ventilated area.

All covers have built-in valves for the release of gases, but it is better to unscrew them anyway, since due to high pressure it can break the battery.

The wires of the charger must be connected to the battery terminals, observing the polarity. If the charger allows you to set the current value, then it must be calculated based on the battery capacity. It must be divided by 10. That is, with a capacity of 60 Ah, the current will be 6 A.

Forse batteries have a charge indicator. After the battery is fully charged, it will turn green. The exact charging time depends on the battery level.

Important! It is better not to allow a deep and, especially, long-term discharge of the Forse battery. Despite the manufacturer's assurances that his equipment reacts neutrally to deep discharge, it can actually do harm. It is better to charge it as the charge drops.

How to find out the release date and decrypt the code

The manufacturer of these batteries uses a ten-digit mark.Consider how to determine the release date from it, for example.

Let's say the code 6374 624132 is applied. The first digit is in it 6 Is the line number. Next three digits 374 Is the batch code. Next figure 6 means the last digit of the year, that is. 2016 year. After half a year. 1 is the first, and 2 - this is the second. The next figure is the serial number of the month, depending on the half year. If the first, then: 1 - January, 2 - February, 3 - March, 4 - April, 5 - May, 6 - June. If the second, then: 1 - July, 2 - August, 3 - September, 4 - October5 - November; 6 - December. Then comes the date 13 and brigade number.

That is, the battery was manufactured on October 13, 2016.

Heavy batteries will be labeled differently. For example: 14010243. It turns out that a 140 Ah battery is the first three digits. The next two are the year of manufacture, 10 is 2010. The number 2 means the second half of the year, and the number 4 - the month of the second half, respectively, October. Well, the number 3 is the number of the brigade.
